Scope Houlihan Lokey is looking for Teaching Associates to assist with our training programs. This is a part-time position from May 30th through the end of July. The length of employment is variable and can be adjusted based on your particular situation. Candidates must have prior investment banking experience in a corporate finance or mergers and acquisitions group, or similar experience in corporate valuation.
Role Requirements - Candidates must have at least two years of prior investment banking experience in a corporate finance or mergers and acquisitions group, or similar experience in corporate valuation
- Strong analytical skills, especially valuation and financial modeling expertise
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, especially with constructing financial models
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player; patient personality; comfortable and willing to help others
Responsibilities Assist trainees with daily exercises (i.e., public and acquisition comparables, three-statement models, DCF, LBO, and merger consequences), specifically:
- Handling chat room questions during virtual classroom discussions
- Facilitating discussion during virtual breakout rooms
- Conceptual reinforcement of valuation topics, calculations, and lecture materials
- Sharing PowerPoint and Excel "tips" with shortcuts
- Evaluation of the daily exercises
- No prior teaching experience required

Salary Range Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:
$550.00-$600.00
