Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team at HR Employer Solutions Group in West Palm Beach, Florida. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that medical instruments, equipment, and supplies are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stored for safe use. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary of $30 per hour, paid weekly.

Responsibilities:
- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize medical instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment
- Inspect instruments for defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Assemble and package instruments for sterilization according to departmental procedures
- Maintain accurate records of all sterilization processes
- Follow all infection control and safety policies and procedures
- Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a timely and respectful manner
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain knowledge of current sterilization techniques and protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited sterile processing program preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
