We have an immediate need for a Site Safety Supervisor in New York, NY.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Primary Day Shift; Second Shift and Weekend Work May Be Needed - Candidate must be comfortable and flexible to work second and or weekend shifts if needed
• This candidate will report directly to the Senior Safety Manager and must be willing to learn and assist the Senior Safety Manager in the review, verification of information, and composition of our client’s safety work plans
• May be required to conduct safety walkthrough inspections at other client infrastructure project locations and develop a comprehensive report
• May be required to provide safety related training and compliance assistance to Liro-Hill project field teams and staff
• Ensure project site-specific, city, state, and federal safety compliance regulations are being met

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project safety
• Must be comfortable and able to commute to other client site locations as needed.
• Amtrak and LIRR contractor orientation training will be required.
• BCSP certified construction health & safety technician (CHST) and relevant work experience required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training Certification required.
• Emphasis on strong written and oral skills - A writing sample will be required
• Well-rounded knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards, OSHA, FRA regulations Title 49, NYC DEP, NYS DOT, etc. 
• Must be fit and able to traverse through challenging site conditions, including stair towers, ladders, uneven ground surfaces, etc.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels
• Experience with processing programs is a must.

• We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment
• Compensation: Minimum: $80,000; Maximum: $125,000
• The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate’s qualifications and location.
