You must have experience. While we love to help people learn and grow, we don’t have time for that right now. We need a Legal Assistant with experience in Criminal Defense, specifically managing DUI cases. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding.

This is a full-time work-from-home job where you are expected to manage a large caseload, so you absolutely must be able to work for 40 hours per week.

The pay will be $20 to $24 per hour, depending on experience, and the first 90 days of employment will be probationary. Benefits may become available after a favorable 90-day performance evaluation. You must reside in the state of Colorado.

• Manage a highly dynamic and demanding calendar with numerous appointments, meetings, and deadlines.
• Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and third-party entities, verbally and/or in writing
• Monitor case progress and manage client expectations
• Draft court documents; fill out legal forms; write reports, etc.
• Assist attorneys prepare cases for jury trial
• Maintain records in case management system to protect confidential data, such as Discovery

• Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with MS Office products
• Candidates should have strong organizational skills and communication skills
• Experience with legal software, litigation case management, and docketing programs

• Candidate must reside in Colorado and have the ability to commute during the 90-day probationary period
