Job Description
Job Title: Traveling Heavy Equipment Mechanic Starting Location: Hobbs, NM (will travel to other locations)
Pay: $30-40/hr. plus per diem.
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Saturday, 7:00AM-5:00PM

Duties: - Responsible for the diagnosis, repair, reconditioning, overhaul and maintenance of heavy equipment and/or components.
- Will be working with CAT and Komatsu equipment.
- Heavy work that includes carrying, lifting and/or moving objects up to 100 pounds or more
- Prepares accurate and complete service reports and turns them in on time
- Coordinates with Service Writer, Shop Coordinators, and Managers
- Follows safety practices and keeps work area clean
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications: - 3 years of experience in heavy equipment, engine, or electric power generation system repair.
- Must own tools.
- Experience with hydraulics, electrical, engine and transmission gear.
- Must be able to travel to Hobbs, NM.
Work Environment: - Service shop environment
- Climate controlled
- Newly remodeled with new work stations
- Long term opportunity after 6 months, opportunity to relocate OR an agreed upon rotational shift
