Jim Coleman Nissan of Ellicot City is hiring a High Performance Automotive General Sales Manager Jim Coleman Automotive is a 3rd generation family-owned dealership founded in 1968 by Mr. William Coleman. The Coleman family has been selling and servicing cars in the DMV since the 1950s. Mr. Coleman had a vision of establishing a dealership with a superior level of customer service standards. He believed that Bethesda residents and Washingtonians alike possessed higher expectations of retailers. He was ahead of his time, striving to deliver a unique, customer-focused car buying experience. He passed along this legacy of customer care to his son Jim who led the company's expansion and diversified its brand offerings in the 1980s and 90s with an expanded portfolio including Toyota, Infiniti, Honda, Jaguar, and Land Rover dealerships. Jim Coleman Automotive now has 9 franchises throughout Maryland and can be found in Bethesda, Silver Spring, Clarksville, and Ellicott City. We are looking for a high performance General Sales Manager candidate to join our growing team. Responsibilities Monitor and manage the entire new vehicle inventory. Manage all units including in stock units, wholesale units, and loaner fleet. Work with inventory team to ensure vehicles are properly inventoried. Day to day lead engagement/customer follow up. Creating sales quotes, knowledge of financing, cash pricing, and the ability to review with clients. Monitor day to day sales. Reporting vehicle sales/Monitor Manufacturer payout program closely. Monitor day to day salespersons interactions with clientele. Awareness of incentives and other manufacturer monies. Closely monitor stores success in market. Perform to standards set by dealership/Manufacturer. Create effective sales processes. Other duties as assigned.
