Position: Data Modeler
Location: Miami, FL
Duration : 6 Month CTH
Rate Range: 50-60/hr
Position Overview: Perform regular reviews of proposed ETL solution designs, vetting them against technology standards, compliance requirements and best practices to ensure a reliable, secure solution is implemented
Perform data model reviews & set database objects naming & data model standards
Analyze current data management environment to identify critical gaps/deficiencies, and design and propose solutions for improvement touching all aspects of data lifecycle
Identify data quality issues and their root causes. Propose fixes and design data audits.
Provide subject matter expertise and technical leadership to data modelers and ETL developers to bring improvement and optimizations in the implementation of data warehouses/ data lake, marts and universes
Assist in Data Architecture landscape analysis, findings and recommendations leveraging industry best practices and proven methodologies.
Part of Architecture Review Team (ART) in setting, governing & enforcing them bothData model & ETL design
Excellent oral and written communication, Analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to details
MUST Haves: 1. 7 + years of experience data modeling
2. ETL Design Experience - Informatica preferred, but open to others
3. Data Warehouse experience
4.Oracle (basic experience, no scripting) their warehouse is in Oracle
4. ER studio - ok with other monitoring tools/fine with training on ER so long as they have a different modeling tool exp
