About the role: The Data Analyst is responsible for helping to drive initiatives that support Wiley's data-informed audience strategy. You will work independently on quantitative and qualitative analyses of both internal and external data to help develop fact-based strategies and solutions. This role requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to own projects from inception to execution. The ideal candidate will not only be able to analyze and interpret data but will also synthesize and communicate complex findings and conclusions to a variety of stakeholders. How you will make an impact: Maintain and update existing Power BI dashboards. Work with managers and stakeholders to develop new Power BI dashboards. Provide data reports and analysis to support sales and delivery teams as needed. What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree or other advanced degree. 2-3 years minimum experience working in data analytics. Broad experience in MS Office, or analogs. Experience in creating documentation. Strong and demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL. Self-directed, with demonstrated experience in meeting objectives and delivering results. Ability to collaborate with and influence colleagues in various departments at all levels to achieve business goals. Fluent in English. Able to travel by plane or train as needed. Highly organized. Strong written and presentation skills. Desirable: Masters or PhD in Computing Science, Data Analytics, or related field. Work experience in the publishing industry, healthcare, or marketing/advertising analytics. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, AHA, or similar. Experience in any/all of the following: Snowflake, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Campaign, Streamlight. Project management experience. Demonstrated experience in creating clear, impactful data visualizations. Why should you join Wiley? The team!
