Job Description
Seeking a Complex Pursuit Price Proposal Lead to join the Worldwide Public Sector Pricing Team as a key resource driving task order pricing efforts. In this position, the candidate will own the pricing volumes and models for our most strategic contracts. Candidate will support the task order pricing development process, manage compliance with customer requirements and company policy, and own price proposal deliverables. Candidate will be directly involved in strengthening our proposal pricing methodologies and tooling. They will coordinate with capture, proposals, account teams, solution architects, legal, and other stakeholders to develop pricing responses that best meet our customers’ needs. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements.
Key job responsibilities
• Owning development of each task order’s price volume – the: basis of estimate; total evaluated price; pricing scenarios; price narratives; and bid assumptions
• Developing cost and pricing models that align with deal requirements and customer evaluation criteria
• Understanding our customers’ and partners’ business and technical requirements, and working closely with internal teams to address those requirements
• Optimizing existing processes and developing new, scalable, and repeatable processes and tools that reflect best pricing-practices; creating standard templates that scale to meet growing business needs
• Monitoring, evaluating, and refining pricing submission models
• Facilitating net new pricing requirements with internal stakeholders
• Coordinating pricing inputs from AWS product teams, professional services, and training
• Analyzing task order win/loss trends and providing guidance to maximize win probability
A day in the life
The Complex Pursuit Price Proposal Lead will manage fast paced, deadline driven price proposal submissions on a day to day basis. They will work with Solutions Architects, Proposal Managers, Capture Managers, and Account teams to develop accurate and compliant pricing deliverables.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 2+ years of responding to requests for proposals (e.g., determining requirements, matching requirements to technical approach and solutions, developing solutions against requirements) experience
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
