Job Description

Expected schedule: in the facility – M-F, and as needed on the weekend if we need coverage on the floor.
Up to 70k.


JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction and supervision of the Administrator the Asst. Administrator is delegated with responsibility and authority for the internal operations of the facility in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, facility policies, and as may be directed by Alden Management Services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility in its programs and activities, assure that all procedures are followed in accordance with established policies, supervise employees, identify problems, assure quality care is being rendered, provide direction for the entire facility in the absences of the Administrator, meet with personnel regularly, scheduling, complete performance evaluations in a timely manner, along with other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school education or equivalent; college education or licensed nurse qualifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of Long-Term Care preferred.
  • Must be able to deal tactfully and have the ability to work effectively with residents, families, personnel, support agencies and the general public.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with all personnel.
